About Us
Fingerprints Early Learning is a family owned and operated childcare centre, located within the heart of Wentworthville. Encompassing over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and care, we pride ourselves on offering the highest quality educational, preschool and school readiness programs; whilst catering to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.
Our wonderful environment includes a very generous outdoor playground, coupled with a gorgeous verandah for indoor-outdoor play (and those rainy days!) as well as two beautiful learning spaces that have been intentionally designed to foster close connections between children, their peers and educators. We operate Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6pm each day, 52 weeks of the year.
At Fingerprints Early Learning, we place particular emphasis on the development of lifelong skills, which our children utilize throughout their school readiness journey, as well later on in life. Transition to school is of particular value to us, as it marks the pinnacle of a child’s early learning journey and graduation from childcare into “big school”.
Our preschool program in particular, has the key benefit of being delivered in a childcare setting; meaning longer and more flexible hours for families, a consistent daily fee that remains applicable for Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and that we remain open during school holiday periods – ensuring that you, as parents, still have both, the flexibility and peace of mind in knowing your child is preparing for primary school.
Fingerprints is a Childcare Subsidy (CCS) approved centre and is licensed to deliver early childhood education and care (ECEC) by authority of the NSW Department of Education.

Our story
Fingerprints Early Learning is a family-owned and operated long day care centre proudly serving the Wentworthville community. Run by a genuine, local family, with over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Care, we are dedicated to nurturing children’s growth through play-based learning.
Our experience encompasses Bachelor Qualifications in Early Childhood Teaching (ECT) from Macquarie University, alongside operating childcare centres to an “Exceeding” standard; as per the National Quality Standards (NQS), as well as extensive experience throughout operations in childcare, as well as a plethora of management experience across the most reputable providers of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Our ultimate vision as a family was to transfer the wealth of knowledge, experience and qualifications into a place we could truly call our own – a place just like home, and after many years of searching, Fingerprints finally came to life.
Having carefully thought out the concept of Fingerprints Early Learning, our objective was to create something that truly reflected who we are as people, our core values, principles and ethos. Something we would take enormous pride in and have no hesitation in enrolling our own children into.
Fingerprints Early Learning is well and truly the birth child of our hopes and dreams, but most importantly, something that we truly believe reflects us as people.
Since 2006
The childcare centre has been serving the local community wholeheartedly since 2006 and enjoys an upstanding reputation, whilst taking pride in serving countless children and their families, with high quality education and care.
Our Philosophy
At Fingerprints Early Learning, we believe that every child’s Fingerprint is a symbol of their identity; encompassing and embracing their individuality and uniqueness.
At the core of our philosophy, we believe that childhood is a vital stage to be cherished and celebrated.
This is a formative time when key foundations for future growth are built. We recognize that play is essential for developing social, creative, and cognitive skills, creating a space that is warm, welcoming, and inclusive for all children and their families.

We value relationships as a foundation for learning, and authentic, respectful connections guide our approach. Families are seen as children’s first teachers, and we encourage their involvement as an essential part of our program.

At Fingerprints, our play-based program provides enriching experiences where children can explore, learn, and grow. We see each child as an active participant in their learning journey, valuing their voices and choices in our practices.
Our dedicated educators focus on nurturing lifelong learning. They create high expectations and respect each child’s unique way of learning. We encourage a sense of Belonging in their environment, Being present in the moment, and Becoming the best versions of themselves.
Our natural play spaces support a sense of well-being and a connection to nature, giving children a space where they feel ownership and agency. We foster sustainability practices by incorporating ideas from both children and adults.
As a part of the broader community, Fingerprints embraces cultural diversity, ensuring it enriches our learning environment. We believe children learn about themselves and develop their identity through the context of their families and community.

Our Community
At Fingerprints Early Learning, we believe in the importance of children forming connections within their local community.
Our centre is part of a close-knit community that encompasses the Wentworthville region, as well as surrounding suburbs such as Westmead, Greystanes, Toongabbie, Merrylands and more – with many families recommending us to friends and relatives.
Located on a quiet street directly across the from Our Lady of Mount Carmel school, we take pride in not only providing high quality childcare to our community, but also providing convenience and flexibility to our families!
One of the foundations of the National Quality Standard (NQS), is Quality Area 6: Collaborative Partnerships with Families and Communities. These partnerships are fundamental to achieving quality outcomes for children, and community partnerships based on active communication, consultation and collaboration, are essential to your child’s early learning journey.
We also take great pride in knowing that we provide a significant foundation to transitioning our children into our surrounding schools such as Our Lady of Mount Carmel Primary School, Wentworthville Public School, Darcy Road Public School and Hilltop Road Public School.

We just wanted to stop for a moment to thank you for entrusting us with the care of the most valuable thing to you – your child! For us, operating our own service has been a dream for many years, which entailed countless sacrifices and endless obstacles to overcome.
Being very well experienced in Early Childhood Education & Care, as well as being parents ourselves, especially having children of childcare age, our vision was always to have a childcare centre that not only reflected who we are as people, but more importantly, provided a level of quality care and education that we could not only take pride in, but raise our own children in.
In a world where childcare and preschool has become so commercialized, it has become increasingly difficult to find genuine owners whom truly care about the children in their care and hence, there was nothing that we desired more than to go back to our roots of what we know is best for the most important people in the equation…the children!
We take great pride in being able to bring this service to you and for our dream to actually have come to life, hence you can rest assured that we’re not only extremely appreciative that you would choose us, but we feel obliged to provide you with the very best possible service as a means of gratitude.
